Advanced Class

A successful journey must have a roadmap. In order to get to where you want to go, it's imperative that you know the route you're taking and all the details that it takes to get you there. It takes planning, foresight, vision, clarity of goals and purpose, dedication, desire, passion, resiliency and a strong work ethic in order to start, continue against all odds and complete the trip. An actor's career is not unlike a road trip... a journey that requires strategic planning. There are 120,000 members of the Screen Actors Guild. Two percentage of those actors work a fair amount. An actor must not only be talented but must understand their product and how to sell it. If you're waiting on someone to discover you, or you're waiting by the phone for your agent and manager to call with your next audition, then your career may not be as fulfilling as you would like. An actor must know how to administrate their career from a standing start. An actor must know how to take advantage of the times when things are going well. A career is not something that happens to you, it's something that you create on a one day at a time basis. That is true whether you're just starting out, or you're at the top. You need to know what you want to do in order to take it to the next level. That knowledge begins with you and your vision and then it is shared with your team. Most actors rely on their team to create the vision for them, so in effect, most actors are following someone else's vision for them.

The purpose of the advanced class is to help people identify the career that they want, create the doable plan to achieving that dream and then help them to be accountable in fulfilling that dream. This class will have a strong and solid structure that supports consistent development and dream fulfillment, yet is focused on accomplishing individual goals and purposes... Whether it's:

• Targeting producers, directors, casting directors or actors
• Booking specific roles
• Creating your own show
• Developing your own film
• Enhancing your technical abilities
• Building a website
• Learning to administrate on the highest level
• Learning to be accountable to yourself and your dreams
• Finding the things that's right for you

This is done through a specific structure, but designed for your specific needs and what you need to do to fulfill your goals.
